Mackenzie Perras is a Vancouver-based artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture and material research.
His work ranges from individual artworks to large-scale commissions shaped by the architecture and character of specific sites.
Perras has exhibited internationally and undertaken residencies in Italy, Germany and Mexico. His work is held in private and corporate collections in Canada and abroad.
He transforms minerals, metals, historical commodities and industrial byproducts into handmade pigments, paints and richly textured surfaces, exploring relationships between industry, technology and the environment.
